The seaside towns of South West Rocks, Hat Head and Crescent Head are all famous fishing holiday destinations. The Macleay Valley Fisherman’s Co-operative supports local fishermen, supplying the Sydney Seafood Market with the freshest daily catch of snapper, oysters, prawns and crabs.

Visitors and locals can pop into the Co-op store in Jerseyville to pick up the catch of the day.

Fresh, locally caught seafood can also often be found on the menu at the Kempsey Macleay RSL Club’s bistro – talk to head chef Lloyd to find out the catch of the day.
